The
aim of this department is educating skillful, proficient, competent, committed
and efficient with high human values originating from Islamic thoughts in order
to improve public health with a holistic approach to meet the physical,
psychological, social and spiritual needs with an emphasis on maintaining
Mental Health of Individuals. The educational mission is to educate of nursing,
midwifery and operating room nurses to provide mental health nursing services
to patients with mental disorders, particularly in the areas of care,
education, support and rehabilitation. The Research mission is to develop an
atmosphere of research among students in order to promote the frontiers of
knowledge in the field of mental health and mental health promotion and care
related to these areas through research on mental health and provide
opportunities to develop collaboration and collective intra and
intergroup practicing in research activities. Clinical mission is training
nursing graduates with appropriate clinical – theoretical competences to
provide mental health and psychiatric services to community at three levels of
prevention, as well as nurturing the students' insight and attitudes toward
their profession.
